Lamina Light - Yule

The new Lamina Light sculptures provide a unique experience of light and geometric color patterns. Through the semi-transparent, layered slats, the design shows a changing color palette from different viewing angles. The black light fixture is modular, which allows loading and customizing different patterns.

The Lamina Light can be adjusted in brightness and warmth to create optimal conditions. The slats, made of recycled acrylic material, also change color by adjusting light intensity and light warmth.

Lamina is exploring new possibilities for more efficient manufacturing and recycling techniques. The designer uses a circular design strategy. At the end of the life cycle, the components can be largely disassembled and are recyclable.

The Lamina Light was designed by Tijs Gilde for Transnatural. It is also available in custom patterns, colors and sizes upon request.
